What kind of events & workshops do we host?
The TRIO Scholars Program hosts events and workshops that seek to benefit the scholar’s university experience. This includes networking connections with faculty on campus, financial literary, academic wellness, professional development, personal wellness, and community support. These different events and workshops take place throughout the academic year and are led by professionals.
“I am very grateful for the TRIO staff for offering me a warm and exciting opportunity to present at the First Generation Faculty Panel. I was able to have the guidance on developing professional and presentation skills, along with interacting with first generation faculty and the Dean of Division of Undergraduate Education.”

|“I went to the Credit Union/Credit Scores workshop last year and it was really helpful. I learned all about the benefits of credit unions, and I left with new knowledge on the subject of credit. I think it’s super important to learn all about this especially in college because it will help us all out in the future.”
